DAY 1: TANGIER AIRPORT:
Arrival and pick up by our guides at the airport or in the port of Tangier and transfer to the Hotel. Possibility of visiting the old Medina, dinner and accommodation in Tangier according to selected hotel category.
DAY 2: TANGIER – MEKNES – FES:
After breakfast departure in the direction of Fez, making a stop in Larache to eat. We continue towards the town of Moulay Ismail -Meknes, famous for its monumental Bab Mansour gate and the walls of its city. Arrival in Fez, dinner and accommodation in Riad in the Medina.
DAY 3: FEZ “CITY TOUR WITH LOCAL GUIDE”
Visit the city of Fez. As we enter the streets of their medina, we feel that time recedes: the union structure is still present in the work, the narrowness of its streets does not allow other means of transport than the donkeys and a constant tingling of people moves through the labyrinthine streets in the midst of which neighborhoods like the one of the Andalusians and magnificent mosques and Koranic schools will surprise us. Fez has always been associated with study and religiosity, and remains the spiritual capital of Morocco. After visiting the medina another option is to walk aimlessly through the streets of Fez-Jdid, where the royal palace, the mellah and the oldest mosque in Fez are located. 4 DAY: FES – IFRANE – AZROU – CEDRO FOREST – MIDÉLT – ZIZ VALLEY – MERZOUGA DESERT
Pick up from the Riad at 8 am, and go south to cross the Middle Atlas Mountains until you reach Ifrane, called the small Moroccan Switzerland because of its great resemblance to that country. One of the animals that once inhabited here was the Atlas lion, which is why it has become the symbol of the city and to which a stone statue has been dedicated in the center of it. We will take the opportunity to stop and take some photos. Afterwards we will cross the famous cedar forests and we will be able to admire the Great Cedar Gouraud, the largest millenary cedar of the region and also feed the hundreds of Gibraltar monkeys that live in the area. Lunch in Midélt or Rich and from here the land becomes arid and full of spectacular geological formations and deep green valleys, such as the Ziz Valley. We will begin to see the typical architecture of adobe, palm trees, some distant Kasbahs … we are at the doors of the desert. After an hour after Erfoud we arrive at the impressive dunes of Merzouga and after the Hospitality Tea, we will leave the suitcases in the rooms and go up to the first dunes that are next to the hotel and we will take advantage to enjoy the beautiful sunset. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
5 DAY: MERZOUGA – ERG – CHEBBI – NOMADIC FAMILIES – RIDING IN DROMEDARY – NIGHT IN HAIMAS IN THE HEART OF THE DESERT
We are already in the desert and today will be a day to discover the best of the Desert. After a copious and rich breakfast, we will go around the Erg Chebbi, an expanse of sand desert where the Great Dune of Morocco is located, of more than 250 meters of altitude, and we will connect by track with part of the route followed by the old Paris-Dakar and with the mountains that border with Algeria in the background. Stop in the oasis of Tissardmin where we can find a race of Fossiles that is still in this region and we will continue towards a nomadic settlement where we will know some of the secrets of his life and customs. Later stop at a panoramic point where we can contemplate the Erg Chebbi as a whole. We will arrive at the village of Khamlia, originally from Mali, where we will relax with a tea while we enjoy a small concert of spiritual music from Gnawa. Return to the hotel to leave in a caravan of camels to enter the heart of the dunes and contemplate an unforgettable sunset. We will arrive with the dromedaries to the camp where we will stay in Haimas. Shops made with dromedary hair, like those used by desert nomads. Dinner and night in Haimas in the heart of the desert under a spectacular starry sky.
DAY 6: MERZOUGA DESERT – MARKET OF RISSANI – VALLEY OF TODRA – GORGES OF THE DADÉS
After the Sunrise, since they are in the desert, it is recommended to get up early to walk to the highest dune that is around the camp to enjoy the sunrise and this relaxing landscape that nature offers, we will return on camels to the village of Merzouga. After a rich breakfast, we have to say goodbye to the desert and we will go to Rissani where we will visit its market, we will continue our route towards Erfoud where there is also the possibility of visiting the fossilized marble factory before continuing towards the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad. 1 hour later we will arrive at one of the strongest points of the High Atlas: The Todra Gorges. The channel of the Todra River has formed a defile of vertical walls of enormous proportions and of great beauty; It is a paradise for climbers and a unique place. Lunch at the site and a half hour walk would be recommended to see and enjoy the Gorges in detail. In the afternoon we will continue to the Valley of Dadès, known for the Valley of figs, passing by Boumalne Dadés we will stop at the (legs of a monkey) Dinner and breakfast at the hotal in the Gorges of Dadés.
DAY 7: THE DADES GORGES – VALLÉ DE ROSAS – OASIS OF SKOURA – KASBAH AMRIDEL – OUARZAZATE:
After our breakfast, we enjoyed enjoying one of the best views of the Dades Valley. We will do it from one of the most strategic places that the mountains offer us. From there we can observe the amount of kasbah that there is and the picturesque of each of them, then exit to a road dotted with various Kasbah of great interest until you reach the Kasbah of Aït Youl where we will make a detour and we will go through tracks in the deeper in the Central High Atlas, discovering spectacular landscapes. We will visit a nomadic family that still lives in caves in the Vallé de Boutagrar where time seems to have stopped. We will see mountains, canyons and valleys as well as the grottos where nomads still live in the mountains. Arrival at the Vallé de las Rosas to reunite Kelaa M ‘gouna. Lunch in the village and in the afternoon we will pass by Skoura oasis, arrival in Ouarzazate, dinner and hotel accommodation. .
DAY 8: VITA DE OUARZAZATE WITH ITS STUDIO – AIT BEN HADDOU KASBAH – HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS – MARRAKECH.
The morning is dedicated to the visit of Ouarzazate: kasbah de Taourirt, film studios. Then we will go to the fortified town of Ait Ben Haddou, where we will visit its famous Kasbah (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986). In this spectacular setting, famous films such as Gladiator (2000), Lerance de Arabia (1962), Sahara (2005), La Mummy (1999) …
Lunch in the village and in the afternoon we will depart for Marrakech crossing the mountain pass of Tizi Ntichka with stops to take photos. Here we will leave behind the lunar landscape that will give way to the predominant green, ocher colors … etc. Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon, transfer to Riad or Hotel.
DAY 9: MARRAKECH “VISIT OF GREAT CITY WITH LOCAL GUIDE”
You will have a guided tour to discover the different facades of Marrakech, a city famous for its Jemaa el Fna square, which will occupy much of our time: an amalgam of aromas, sounds and sensations unrepeatable. The city also has countless places to wander and enjoy: the Jardines de Majorelle, the Menara, the Saadian Tombs, walks through the medina or the mellah, the route of the walls, the modern city (Gueliz) with their western ways of life. DAY 10: MARRAKECH – CASABLANCA:
After breakfast and departure to Casablanca, which is the economic capital of Morocco and mythical city on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, fascinating architecture. We will visit its famous La Corniche beach area and the Hassan II mosque, the largest mosque in the world, dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 11: CASABLANCA – RABAT – ASILAH:
After breakfast and departure to Rabat, visit the capital of Morocco, the Royal Palace, the mausoleum of Mohammed V, the Hassan Tower, Kasbah Oudaya, in the afternoon we will continue to the city of Asilah to visit its beautiful white Medina. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel in Asilah.
DAY 12: ASILAH – TANGIER:
After breakfast and transfer to the airport or port according to flight or boat schedule in Tangier. here our services and end of our trip are finished. “Morocco exotic adventures”.
